too paiseh to do anything. -.- too paiseh to go buy stuff cause if i do, den i'd have to ask around and probably annoy the others. too paiseh to hit anyone, which is why i only hit back when other ppl hit me. that, and my com's a little laggy so instead of walking, i click on them and den i hit them. I think i barely damage them. barely. so far, ive gotten no where. i won't give up, though. it's my first time :) but that's no excuse. I guess i should just go out and get a shirt that says "NOOB" on it and wear it my entire life. though that would make a nice shirt O.o LOL

my friends have really helped me and without them, i'd definitely be noobier than the noob i am. This is the part where it's practically all up to me. all up to me to learn more about the equipment (or as they say EQ) and up to me to put stuff into practice. it's hard to put into words. oh the irony!

ppl are online now. and i'm blogging. they're off to kill each other. lol. if i'd gone with them, i think i'd die with one click. -.- it's embarassing. cause unlike maple, you don't need as much hand-eye coordination. it's all about gearing up and going. i don't really have the gearing up part down yet. and i definitely haven't gone anywhere. so.. yeah.. i'm stuck in noobsville until further notice.

and by the looks of it, i think i might be here awhile.

why rojak? well, i've been letting this blog slide (again), so i'mma update u on EVERYTHING that has happened since my last post. and quite alot has happened. quite.. y'know, come to think of it, not that much has happened. O.o

so anyway, the holidays started an unexpected day early. most of u must be like "yea yea we know". i ketinggalan zaman, okay??

how did i spend my hols? the first 5 days were DA BOMB! jayne (my tiny ten year old cousin) came to stay with us cause her parents were at melbourne. then crystine came over and.. *brace yourselves*

no, i won't be blogging on how patriotic this day is. cause, frankly, the media has been doing a great job. it's a shame petronas doesn't do those adverts anymore. They were really good! especially the Hari Raya balik kampung themed ones.

so anyway, i was on the way to bm tuition, and after much planning, my aunt decided she'd take me. so after two stops, we got to the tuition centre and it was closed. WHOOPIE!!!! i was ecstatic. :D

but after awhile, it hit me.. there's school tomorrow and then there are those tests which i haven't really studied for. math, history.. then the day after that, BIO.. and on friday, ADD MATHS! gahhhh

this hols have been quite boring. quite.

so happy merdeka, everyone. there's school tomorrow. i'm at my cousin's place. but she's at tuition. along with her elder and younger sisters. i'm here with the youngest 2.

so i was technically grounded today, cause i wasn't studying enough for the hols O.o so while i was cooped up in my room, mom and dad went out. Bliss (my golden retriever)needed food. So they drove to the nearby vet to get Pedigree.. yes, the dog has picky taste..

according to dad, here's the hilarious conversation between the vet and my mum;
Mum: do you have that Pedigree type of dog food? the one with three colours.. brown, yellow, green...
Vet: oh you mean three flavours?
Mum: nonono, three colours. Because ah, the dog seems to be attracted to the many colours. green especially. She eats a lot now, you know?! The green one attracts her attention alot.
Vet: ...... Dogs are colour blind.

Let me tell you a story.. it's an epic tale of two individuals who share a common ambition, with just two days, involving one computer, one ict class, one large Sze Hong and LOTS OF MANILA CARD AND STRING!

yes, my dear friends, i'm talking about sze's samurai costume!

it was thursday, ict class again. free internet :D so i facebooked.. :S i know i know, against the rules.. but

Students + internet = no coursework... at all..

so anyway, next to me were james and chris lau. heck, there were loads of ppl around. :S as i finished telling james about my cousin in singapore, (he's damn funny, btw) lol i decided to take a quiz. i settled for "what warrior are you" cause james reminds me of anime HAHHA

my result: SAMURAI

Me: eh eh james, look, i got samurai!
James: dazcool! (or smth like that :S)
Me: so nice la the armor.. *randomly recalls Japanese scene in merdeka play* Eh, James.. imagine if we dress sze in a giant samurai outfit! LOL
James: !!! CAN HOR!! so fun la! we should!
Me: O_o you wan? we start today, after school. i go take manila card from the office den we make in time for merdeka
James: cann can can!!

so later that day, after school, we rushed downstairs to the stage where our classmates were practicing. the table pushed infront of the stage provided us a great work place. The design of the costume was james' idea, i helped him cut, "sew", punch holes, STAPLE, RELOAD, pitch in ideas where i could, lol.. it was fun. :D

we hadn't gotten much done within the first day, but the next day, we kicked it into high gear and finished the entire thing :D and judging by the immense applause, you guys loved it :D

and after all that, i had a migrane :S HAHAHA

but it was all so worth it

OH YEAH.. i was kinda shocked with my long-windedness cause.. not even MAGDALENE took a single piece of paper!! O.o so now i'm worrying about whether what all i wrote was correct or not :S
4. sejarah, mag knocked briskly on the table and was given TWO sheets of foolscap paper on which she scribbled her answers down furiously. den jordan asked for paper.. and you'll never guess.. I asked for paper too! HAH! but i think i accidentally misspelled Quba' where the Nabi Muhammad s.a.w and Abu Bakar bin whatever guy built that masjid.. oops!
5. chem is in two days and i haven't studied ANYTHING today! :S
6. we were told that we all didn't do very well for addmath.

Whispers

Y'know that game, Chinese whispers? it's where all the players line up and the first person is given an often complicated phrase or sentence to pass on the next person. The players are only given one chance to pass the message on to the next person. no redo-s, no repeats. What happens then if miscommunication were to occur? the initial message would be distorted and mangled into something completely different. If this happens, then the game would be over and the team would lose.

why am i telling you this?

You probably recall the tragic incident in our school last thursday evening. the memory of it still haunts us. it haunts me. it was totally unexpected. many of my curious friends made an effort to call or text me to ask about it- and frankly, i didn't blame them. after all, i am..was?.. captain of the archery club in our school. i was supposed to know all about it. and i did. sort of. i wasn't there when it happened. and because of that, i feel slightly guilty. i feel guilty for abandoning my duties. though i am(was???) stationed on Mondays. i'm not actually responsible for the Thursday class. but sometimes i attend both days. sometimes. often on thursdays, i help carry down the rock heavy equipment and set up. but after the archery competition last last month, i haven't been going on thursdays. Maybe stop by once or twice, but nothing more. Nonetheless, i feel guilty. Everyone tells me i'm not guilty of anything, really. But i can't help feeling a little bit responsible. just a little. though now i'm slightly less burdened.. thank you again, friends for the comfort. thank you again for the reassurance. i really appreciate it.

Since the incident, there have been countless versions of the story. Some versions were very close to the truth. but others were utterly blown out of proportion. I shall not include any details in this post, but i guess you could ask me in school if you need anything confirmed. i'd hate to see these rumours spread when they're fake. Tell it the way it really happened. though if you aren't sure if it's true, if you heard it from somewhere, i wouldn't blame you for believing. heck, i would believe it too. I just think it right for all of us to know what really happened, just the way it happened. don't you think? which is why i am willing to share what i know. and i am reasonably sure what i know is true. reasonably sure. So feel free to ask =)

i visited poor Justin at the hospital on friday. He's doing really well and it warms my heart to see him smiling even in such a state. I was utterly on the verge of tears.

i decided to start with the oh! so cliche "you probably don't know me"
it's harder to say it in real life than in movies.
Justin gave me an understanding expression and mouthed "i know you". he nodded.

Mumbling and stuttering at him, i told him i was sorry. He replied with a comical confused look. I smiled. such a strong young child. I explained that i felt guilty for not being there, for not taking action, for being a somewhat lousy captain, for letting it happen, for being ignorant enough to find out only AFTER it happened.. for everything. Justin couldn't talk - obviously- so he whispered two words. two words that made my chest heave a slight sob. two words that made my nose and eyes prickle. two words that i desperately needed to hear.

Justin smiled weakly, nodded and whispered "it's okay"

In that instant, i felt my knees buckle beneath me. i took a small step backwards to steady myself. Nobody seemed to notice my huge attempt at masking my feelings. i certainly wasn't going to break down here. i'd do that later. later was good.

When i left the room, (i followed Nat Sim and her brother Oliver after school) we went to get drinks. i felt like a weight had been lifted. it was a refreshing feeling.

The corridor was flooded with fellow lodgians. We stick together. it was an inspiring sight.

yes, i am in school.. i have no idea what i'm supposed to do now, so i'mma blog a bit.

there's nothing much to say, really. :S school started on monday, so the holidays are officially offically offffiiicciialllyyyyy over..

physics was a blur, chem was a mess, but bio was actually quite okay. :)

i remember when i finished my essay along with the diagram of the cross-section of a leaf, with minutes to spare, i glanced over to my left and saw that hazel had finished as well. but my hopes were dashed as i also realized that her diagram was more detailed than mine. and by more detailed, i mean DAMN KENG AH!

when cikgu bio and cikgu kenny were collecting the papers after that, hazel started spazzing so i asked her what was up -obviously- and she held up two pieces of blank foolscap paper..

"where's your essay?"

"oh my god!! i wrote it on the wrong paper!!"

all the answers- her keng diagram and her essay- were neatly written on the question paper instead of the two answer sheets given to us.. DAYUM!

so here's to hoping she doesn't get in trouble!! :S

3. invite her into a 3 way conversation in msn, use the wireless keyboard and sit right behind her...*remember: STEALTH`` den type "tine. turn around" and go BOO :D that was fun. fun beyond anything else in the world. so far :S
4. then, be quiet in the 3 way and wait for the unsuspecting "crystine" to say "yuan, type something. quick!" then literally type "something" :) after all, she DID ask me to type SOMETHING, right?!
5. stare at her and don't move until she comes over to smack me
6. and believe me, when she's hyper and siaw, she WILL come over to whack me one
7. convince her that she's not funny OR lame.. cause I am :D ;p jkjkjkjk
8. convince her that i'm putting up some scandal about her on my blog (i.e. this post! :D)
   
9. adopt this very annoying accent and talk to her in it
10. and finally.... write a blog post based solely on ways to annoy her. that'll REALLY annoy her!

well we were in KLCC Petrosains, which oddly turned out to be more exciting than we thought. There was this hologram exhibit thing, so Lorna and I went "sci-fi".. lol, more like SAKAI

at Sepang circuit.. There was this Car Museum (no duh) so emma decided to have a little fun and she got into one of the cars. so a crowd gathered behind me (i was holding the camera) to watch emma go where no student has gone before. probably.

why was the milo truck annoying?

4. it's so "silent" that we don't even know it's here until only AFTER all the milo is gone

can you imagine the HUGE sense of relief
that we all felt??ohhhh yeahhh

then, GOD showed us mercy and sent rain.. it rained so heavily that there was THUNDER and LIGHTNINGand BOY WERE WE HAPPY. so finally, FINALLY after two straight days under the sun, our (well, my) faces burnt, (scalded) it finally rained.. POURED. it was sooo refreshing i was tempted to jump around in the wet and dance like some crazed, red-faced, human lobster hybrid. there has never been a moment that i appreciated storms as much. if you remember one of my first posts, i told you i hated storms... i still do, no doubt -__- but THIS was a perfect time for one..

i couldn't have asked for anything better

and so it rained so heavily for the rest of the day.

so heavily that i couldn't take a picture as everyone was squashed under the two canopies.. the water began to flood and it was like Noah was revisiting us from beyond the grave O.o

emma came in fourth overall and i came in fifth. in school, she mostly gets all the praise. Don't mind me if i sound whiny, but i just get a nod from the teachers, or most times, i'm ignored. wow, thanks for the positive reinforcement -__- i'm not looking for showers of praise, but can you imagine being second-fiddle? even second-fiddle gets noticed. so close, and yet so far Ignore this little bit, i'm just venting.

i'm just feeling a little under-appreciated

but emma has indeed shown great athletism and i am DEFINITELY proud of her. i'm proud of all of us, no matter how good or bad we've done.
