happy merdeka

no, i won't be blogging on how patriotic this day is. cause, frankly, the media has been doing a great job. it's a shame petronas doesn't do those adverts anymore. They were really good! especially the Hari Raya balik kampung themed ones.

so anyway, i was on the way to bm tuition, and after much planning, my aunt decided she'd take me. so after two stops, we got to the tuition centre and it was closed. WHOOPIE!!!! i was ecstatic. :D

but after awhile, it hit me.. there's school tomorrow and then there are those tests which i haven't really studied for. math, history.. then the day after that, BIO.. and on friday, ADD MATHS! gahhhh

this hols have been quite boring. quite.

so happy merdeka, everyone. there's school tomorrow. i'm at my cousin's place. but she's at tuition. along with her elder and younger sisters. i'm here with the youngest 2.

good ol' mum!

so i was technically grounded today, cause i wasn't studying enough for the hols O.o so while i was cooped up in my room, mom and dad went out. Bliss (my golden retriever)needed food. So they drove to the nearby vet to get Pedigree.. yes, the dog has picky taste..

according to dad, here's the hilarious conversation between the vet and my mum;
Mum: do you have that Pedigree type of dog food? the one with three colours.. brown, yellow, green...
Vet: oh you mean three flavours?
Mum: nonono, three colours. Because ah, the dog seems to be attracted to the many colours. green especially. She eats a lot now, you know?! The green one attracts her attention alot.
Vet: ...... Dogs are colour blind.


HAHAHAHA!!!! YOU DON'T GET STUFF LIKE THIS IN REAL LIFE!!!

Let me tell you a story

Let me tell you a story.. it's an epic tale of two individuals who share a common ambition, with just two days, involving one computer, one ict class, one large Sze Hong and LOTS OF MANILA CARD AND STRING!

yes, my dear friends, i'm talking about sze's samurai costume!

it was thursday, ict class again. free internet :D so i facebooked.. :S i know i know, against the rules.. but

Students + internet = no coursework... at all..

so anyway, next to me were james and chris lau. heck, there were loads of ppl around. :S as i finished telling james about my cousin in singapore, (he's damn funny, btw) lol i decided to take a quiz. i settled for "what warrior are you" cause james reminds me of anime HAHHA

my result: SAMURAI

Me: eh eh james, look, i got samurai!
James: dazcool! (or smth like that :S)
Me: so nice la the armor.. *randomly recalls Japanese scene in merdeka play* Eh, James.. imagine if we dress sze in a giant samurai outfit! LOL
James: !!! CAN HOR!! so fun la! we should!
Me: O_o you wan? we start today, after school. i go take manila card from the office den we make in time for merdeka
James: cann can can!!

*the rest was history*

so later that day, after school, we rushed downstairs to the stage where our classmates were practicing. the table pushed infront of the stage provided us a great work place. The design of the costume was james' idea, i helped him cut, "sew", punch holes, STAPLE, RELOAD, pitch in ideas where i could, lol.. it was fun. :D

we hadn't gotten much done within the first day, but the next day, we kicked it into high gear and finished the entire thing :D and judging by the immense applause, you guys loved it :D

and after all that, i had a migrane :S HAHAHA

but it was all so worth it

i wouldn't trade you for anything in the world.
